Vision

               VISION

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. (Prov.29:18)

When I think of a vision it is a dream you have of something in the future.  It is defined as ~ a sight (mentally), i.e. a dream, revelation, or oracle:--vision.  And a primitive root; to gaze at; mentally, to perceive, contemplate (with pleasure); specifically, to have a vision of:--behold, look, prophesy, provide, see.

Everyone has a dream of something for example everyone has a dream of being happily married, to have a job you love, to have an a good income  to support your family(man)  to have a husband that cherishes her (woman),to have good Christian friends that you love spending time with, & to have a good Christ honoring church that you can attend.

For me several things that I mentioned are my dreams. Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. (Prov.16:3) The verse above stats that if we commit are works unto the Lord, that all of our thoughts shall be established.  For example are founding fathers had a vision of a new nation under God. Founded in justice, liberty, & the pursuit of happiness. And look what will have had for the longest time.  A nation founded on biblical principles. Now we have to have a vision to believe that this nation still can turn back to God. We have to believe in it, & do are part, & trust God to do the rest. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.(Prov.3:5-6) I was reading my Bible the other day, & it said “All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king. (1Chron. 12:38) The phrase “one heart” stuck with me. The people came with one heart, if we do the same turn to God with one heart. He will hear us & give us innumerable blessings.

But sometimes we have to wait on our visions. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.(Isa.40:31) Before some of your dreams come true we have to get on are knees & seek the Lord’s face. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.(2Chron.7:14)

For me my visions are this ~ to be happily married, to be involved in the ministry of some short, to have an income that supports a family well, to own my own business, to have friends that I love being around(& I do have), to be have a good Christ honoring church  to attend, to have a family I love.

The Lord had a vision as well for His people which is summed up in one verse “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” (Col.3:2). The apostle Paul goes on & explains in the verse & then in verse 17 “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”  We need to be concerned on heavenly things not earthly. Don’t get me wrong we do need to be concerned only on heavenly things, but we also need to be concerned with our nation which was founded on the basis of freedom, liberty, justice, the pursuit of happiness, & Biblical principles. And to everything with in our power to preserve our freedom & our children, & children’s children, etc…  By whatever means necessary. Which is in accordance with His Word “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men  ; ( Col. 3:23).

I believe that pretty well sums it all up. Agree or disagree is not the object of this, but to clearly encourage & uplift each one of you. If you do disagree get in your own Bible(KJV) & search it out for yourselves. This is what I have come to, & I will stick by it until God shows me otherwise.
